Plumbing Help on Route 66 in Arcadia

Arcadia is a small Route 66 town about 17 miles northeast of Oklahoma City, near the Deep Fork River. It’s best known for the Round Barn, built in 1898, and for Tulon’s Drugstore, the one building to survive a 1924 fire that destroyed most of the business district. After Edmond tried to annex the community in 1984–85, Arcadia incorporated in 1987.

Arcadia has a working partnership with Edmond for water and sewer. Edmond supplies the water and treats the wastewater, while Arcadia’s public works department maintains the lines that serve each customer’s meter and the sewer mains. Natural gas comes from ONG.

For a problem on the town’s side of the meter, contact Arcadia Public Works at (405) 396-2899. For plumbing on your side of the meter, call us.

Arcadia customers can expect:

  • A conversation about the issue before work begins
  • A clear explanation of what we found
  • Repair options based on the actual problem
  • Pricing reviewed and approved before work moves forward
Leak Detection and Repair

Connecting to Rural Water

Just north of Arcadia, Logan County Rural Water District No. 1 is extending water lines into southern Logan County to serve more than 70 homes whose private wells were found unsafe. The project broke ground in April 2026 and is scheduled to finish in fall 2026.

When a home connects to a water district, the district sets the meter, but the line from the meter to the house is usually the homeowner’s to arrange. We can help with:

  • Running a new line from the meter to the house with PEX
  • Tying the new supply into the home’s plumbing
  • Leaks or low pressure after the switch
  • Water heaters worn down by mineral buildup

If you’re connecting to a new water service anywhere around Arcadia, check with your provider about their requirements, then call us for the plumbing on your side.
